Helga is best known as an author of her Pleasant Valley Farm Series books. She has also published two other picture books. She is a busy mother of nine children, who enjoys homeschooling her children, journaling, reading books, and hiking. Helga also enjoys bringing her books to schools and libraries in Wisconsin. She loves children and giving  presentations about writing books.
